Had my first trip to the mega huge GIANT store at Tampines today. It started off pretty hot and humid but after that it rained so heavily and then it drizzled. After groccery shopping, we cabbed home. I felt it was still so early to do anything at home so we all decided to go watch a movie. It was really like a spur of the moment kinda thing. Me and my cousin felt like watching "Freedom Writers" because of Hilary Swank. Time check was 4.45 and the movie starts in half hour so there was no way we could take a bus down to town. Therefore, we cabbed again. I swear I was FLAT BROKE after all those taxi trips.

Anyway we got our tix and because of this stupid family in the popcorn queue who was hoggin the damn thing, we were late for our movie.

Freedom Writers was good. Inspiring and very emotional. Even hotter with Patrick Dempsey in it. The next movie would be "The Reaping" and "Meet the Robinsons".
