I spent the entire night typing out an entry solely on my Batam trip but all that was lost! Ok it was negligence on my part because I left the laptop running the whole night while I went to sleep and my mum must have switched the laptop off in the morning. TSK

Batam was nice only if you had went with people your age plus alot of guys must be there or men and women of the older generation who stops by Batam for the karaoke, dangdut session.

Anyway the highlight was the authentic Nasi Padang food where you can never get it in Singapore, the incessant horning of the taxi drivers by the roadside and the heavenly mouth watering JCO donuts at Megamall.

Before

After

I lovelovelove the nasi padang. My brothers had 6 servings of the rice at every restaurant that we ate at. Moreover the rice used was starchless so no worries ladies. Then there was the taxis which were hogging the roads just to get the tourists. There was one taxi driver who kept pinching his own neck probably trying to burst the pimples or bubbles. After doing so, he would wipe it against his steering wheel or the seats. EWWW. Then, at Megamall we had seafood and one of the dish was Chilli Crab. I was enjoying the chilli paste until I taste some funny tasting black lump which was like shit. When I took it out from my mouth, omg it looked like shit. shit shit shit. I cannot believe I ate shit. My dad then told me they don't normally clean the crabs up properly. WAH thanks eh.

Apart from all those disgusting things, the donuts were heavenly la I tell you. It was better than the Krispy Kremes U.K. I think they should open it here in Singapore, in that way, people don't have to blardy queue up at Donut Factory for 2 hours just to get their donuts.
