11:03 PM

The last time I had time to myself, was months ago. So today, took the opportunity to run some errands in town and get in touch with my spiritual self.

Stopped at Dhoby Gaut and dropped by Plaza Singapura Pizza Hut to see my old manager, Amjad. It was so nice seeing him after such a long time. I was excited, please tell me why. Was actually suppose to follow them on Friday night to catch up and watch movie but had to turn down because of other commitments.

After meeting him, left Plaza Sing and strolled down Istana Park (i'd love to dine at Giraffe someday), then all the way to HMV Heeren. Listened to every disc on display and half the time, visualizing myself with Prison Break/O.C/One Tree Hill/Grey's Anatomy DVD collection.

Headed out to Old Chang Kee with the intention to get Fish Fillet Nugget and the famous baby puffs, super cute kan? It started to drizzle along the way. Caught a performance by some cute tabla guys outside Takashimaya Tommy Hilfiger. The crowd was ridiculous. People were jamming the lanes so I decided to walk over to the other side, near Chanel. That was when I sat down and enjoyed my food at the same time, immersed myself in the rain (light).

After about 30 mins or so, decided to pay ZARA a visit. Loved the sales, hated the crowds. After rounds of window shopping, went up to Kinokuniya to catch some laughter or read up on some inspirational books. Got a few, found a seat among some children and got lost with the humorous taglines in this love book by Reg & Liz. Forgot the title ar.

An hour and a half later, made my way down to Wheelock Place Borders for only 1 thing, read up on magazines. Where else can you get to read them for free? Cheapskate but its true. I have never went up to the other levels in Wheelock Place and so I did just that just now. I found a small shop which was interesting and I'm definitely going back there soon to get a few nice things.

Wanted to get myself Bravissimo ice cream but was too lazy to even walk across. Decided to head home in the end.

I should do this more often.
