8:00 AM

I can finally see happy faces among our Final Year Students of BZE, and if you have read Shikin's blog, you will have an idea why. But for the benefit of the doubt, let me enlighten you:

Supply Chain Quiz Done
Supply Chain Case Study Done
CRM Assignment-but-like-project Done
CRM Interview Done
Major Project Judging Done

Phew!

Anyway, all the above was ok except for the MP Judging where I screwed up 80% of the whole interview process by not talking much, by saying the wrong things and by not answering to the question. And what do I get?

I have a gut feeling I failed my Individual Component of the interview. I strongly feel so because a day after the judging, we met with our Supervisor and he mentioned the judges said our group did badly ESPECIALLY the Question and Answer part.

He didn't directly say I did badly but FYI, I was the only one in the group to be asked with an individual question and the question was;

"SO what makes your project so special? What do you think makes your project stands out as compared to the rest here and the previous projects done?" and mind you, it came along with a sarcastic tone from one of the judges because we assume he thinks that our project is fucking easy.

I was totally unprepared because our project is about designing an effective and unique CRM Model for this company whose never really emphasized much on the CRM implementation. I answered unconfidently, which I take full responsibility of, and I paused quite a number of times.

THEN,

The following day was the CRM interview which consisted of 5 members plus the teacher in charge. I was appointed the facilitator to probe my group members with questions relating to what they have done for their assignment. Basically about marketing strategies, various communication channels adopted, customer data and experience with the companies that you have chosen.

I chose to do on Topshop and ZUJI.

After questioning every one of them, teacher then throw a random question at me (but i later learnt other ppl in other grps were also thrown the same question ).

"Why do you think SCM (Supply Chain Management) is important to CRM and vice versa?"

Dumbfounded for while. I didn't expect to be given a question like that. *I was cursing like hell in my mind, thinking why have I been slapped with this ASK-LYANA-ANYTHING syndrome from all the BZE teachers.*

If that wasn't enough, she later than asked me again, maybe in her mind, she could catch me offguard of not paying attention to what the current speaker was saying or maybe she thinks Im full of shit so I can give her a projection of that image of myself.

She asked my if I agreed with what Nazneen said about whether contributing to the society in terms of charitable events will help the company's CRM.

-_-'

Luckily I did my homework and so I was able to answer. I simply said

"With the company being participative about charity events or the giving back to the society issue, I think it will somehow help the company's CRM because when you do so, you are projecting a good image of your company and then, customers are more aware of you. So with the good impression and with more awareness, people are more keen to do business with you and also not forgetting the whole reliability and trust issue."

I didn't exactly answer it word to word but my answer was like the above.

BUT STILL, STOP ASKING MEEEEEEEEEEE.
