My trip to London again yesterday was a much more confident one because the first trip showed us the importance of knowing the street names and underground tube stations and the shopping districts that you intend to go. I made a few research and thank god we weren't walking in circles this time.

Frankly speaking, Orchard Road is far from being like London. That street is huge, you proolly need a week or more to finish up the whole of London. And what I love about London is that the big boutiques are situated on its own along the streets, and mind you, their only shopping malls are build in suburban areas. So if you want to head to Topshop/Espirit/Gap or anything, you make sure you know which street they're in. Not like in Singapore where everything is available in 1 shopping mall.

We went down to Harrods also which was one the most beautiful place I've ever been to. I wanted to buy soo many souveniors but the things are all made in china, so it does not quite justify with the price. N n, we have it in Singapore.

And people in there must be filthy rich because everybody was carrying GUCCI Roberto Cavalli Fendi HUGO BOSS shopping bags. And the women with their Christian Dior oversized shades and LV Bags and Tiffany & CO bracelets. and diamonds. Fuhh! For a moment, the urge to become rich and successful gets your adrenaline pumping.

Enough about being rich and successful which I'm sure everybody in this world would want. Moving on, Lydiana's friend in her Boarding School is the god children of the owner of that empire so Lydiana said that during one of the school trips to London, the girl went into Harrods and just picked out all she wanted. Shopping Spree. Its not even shopping for god's sake. She owns em' all.

So after that inspiring story, Lydiana wasn't fasting so I insisted she go have her lunch. So we went to Pret A Manger which has the nicest sandwiches ever.

Then took the train to go to Camden Town. I love that place la. There was this street, a long stretch of roads selling ASIAN FOOOD!! I was drooling already and I saw a few Malay faces behind the stalls who were smilling the entire time. Senyum tak agak2! Org da la puasa.

Ok, whatever it is, the food all looks so fresh and goreng and colourful and nice! It was amazing to see all these emo kids (bnyk giler ok) sitting by the roadside, eating Asian food. I bet they would love the food in Singapore.

I was a zombie by 5 p.m. No more energy left and Lydiana was all hyped up. We were suppose to leave the place at 5.30 to catch the train back home. The train was delayed eventually and we ended up reaching home at 7.15 p.m. Rushed over to one of my aunty's friend to breakfast. Watched X Factor and then went home.
