Hari Raya spirit fades each year as you get older. Maybe this applies to me only or maybe because the family(the whole family tree) doesnt seem right or maybe the initiative to actually embrace the whole meaning of Syawal is lost.

I'd like all of you to picture this:

All your family come and get together with food spread on the table. Everybody sitting watching Die Hard Vengence on TV and the kids playing in the room. THATS ALL. OK wait. Your uncle sitting at one end of the sofa, sleeping. And at one corner, your older cousin also dozing off. Nobody talks to anybody except for the makcik2. Your father is not around because he has to find money to feed the family and your aunty is being such a bitch making your 8 year old cousin cry on a joyous day like that.

And I, pathetically, walked up and down the hall and rooms to find myself something DECENT to do. How pathetic is that.

Never mind. The boyfriend has been religously calling me daily for 5-10 mins chat. We said our Hari Raya msges and both were in tears. I was obviously more emotional. Merepek la. Hari Raya pun nak nangis tau.

And here are some pictures using the tak seberapa camera phone.
