Geylang is a nice place to bump into old old old friends.

Yesterday only, I saw Arisya and Boyfriend at Bugis, then saw Rino at Geylang.

Then today, saw this girl back in Eunos Primary. We were walking in the same direction when she turned and then turned again. I almost recognised her but in my heart, I said

"Tak mugkin because she looked like any other typical minah"

She was carrying a baby by the way. Then she pointed a finger and said,

"Are you from Bedok South Secondary?"

Then my heart droppped. Haha paiseh la kan. I was never from there. Then she asked again,

"Oh ok wait, you from Eunos Primary??" I was so happy that she did not mistake me. Then she was amazed at how I've changed. She was looking at me from hair to toe and again and again. Then she told me about how she recently got married and the baby she was carrying is her second child. Well, she was one of the gangsters back in primary school and myself, your typical loser/geek.

Then she wished me Selamat Hari Raya and vice versa. I'm really happy for her. :DD

At about 11 plus, my parents decided to walk over to the temporary pasar geylang side. I saw my old working friend, forgot his name. He was kinda shocked to see me. Hahaha. Mcm tak betul gitu kan. Maybe he thought he'd never see me again. Or maybe I've died. -_-'

Inside, I saw another familiar face. Ex Pasir Ris Sec students will know.

You know the Chinese looking lady selling pau/mashed potato/pizza/maggi goreng/macaroni goreng/popiah hotdog/the 4th shop from the left in the canteen??? Yesss yess, I saw her. She has a shop in there. Her first reaction was,

"EHHHHH budak bertuah nieee!! Lawa nyer (kembang kejap jerr)!! MANER BOYFRIEND??!!!"

She is by far the most enthusiastic lady in the school canteen when it comes to me and Zasir back in secondary school. She will remind me time and again to invite her to my wedding or engagement. Insya Allah

But the saddest part was, the news of the death of her children. She got to tell me abit of it and I felt extremely sorry for her. But I'm really thankful and glad I got to see her again.

When I reached home, I felt so stupid for not asking for her address. Hopefully, I'll drop by her shop again and ask. Its really nice to catch up on old times with old people. Haha

*dances away to Hari Raya classics*
